Dewcape’s Workplace Health and Safety management system is independently verified and in accordance with AS/NZS4801:2001 and BS 18001:2007.
We care about our clients, and our staff and so we never compromise on safety. Safety is the first of our core values and we are proud of our 10-year incident-free record. Safety principles are embedded in all processes and systems and are rigorously adhered to by all permanent and contractual staff.
We develop comprehensive and project-specific risk assessment strategies and our safety management plans are founded on decades of knowledge and experience. We provide comprehensive supervision, and establish clear and unambiguous communication with contractors. All contractors are held to Dewcape safety standards and requirements. Our relationships with our contractors are longstanding, and having worked with us for many years, our regular contractors have absorbed our safety culture, adopting it as their own.
Dewcape has formulated WHS policies in accordance with Work Cover and other government strategy guidelines. These provide the required protective equipment, health and safety training to all employees and visitors who enter a site in progress to minimise the risk exposure of injury or effect on health. External safety consultants, Dewcape management and supervisors conduct regular inspections of the site projects, and safety strategies and plans are audited regularly to ensure a viable, secure and safe building project site.
Dewcape’s safety management programs have achieved Grade A compliance with Caltex ISNet Contractor Safety Management programs.
Our values describe how we operate as a business, as a brand, and as individuals. In turn, we promote these values in our people and in the relationships we build.
