Experience: As CEO and Managing Director of Dewcape, Andrew relies on his extensive knowledge and experience in construction, fit-out, and design, to achieve successful delivery of every project on time and within budget.
He believes strongly in collaboration – whether it is working closely with clients to realise their vision, or encouraging and supporting the team to achieve our goals and objectives. Renowned for his hands-on approach and attention to detail he takes an active interest in all Dewcape’s projects.

John Ishak – National Construction Manager
Qualifications: Bachelor Construction Management (Hons)
Experience: John has 20 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, working on projects in all sectors of the industry throughout Australia, NZ, and the UK ranging from $200,000 through to $2 billion. He was employed by Tier 1 developers, over a span of 10 years working on various projects including Wembley Stadium (UK) and the King St Wharf Precinct in Sydney. John has been with Dewcape for 5 years, and is heavily involved in successfully delivering many projects whilst focusing on maintaining and developing long term relationships.
Michael Lusher - Construction Manager, Victoria
Qualifications: Masters of Project Management at UTS
Experience: Michael has been a valued member of the Dewcape team since 2008, bringing with him over 15 years of industry experience, specialising in the Commercial and Industrial sectors. During the course of his tenure, Michael has successfully delivered in excess of 50 projects ranging from $1 Million to $30 Million dollars. Adopting a hands-on approach, he is a respected leader and is an active contributor to all aspects of project delivery. Relocating to Melbourne in 2015 Michael established Dewcape’s Victorian office, successfully managing the Melbourne based team and operations. In his personal time, you will likely find Michael on the golf course and not surprisingly, he is the reigning champion of the annual Dewcape Golf Cup (2019).
Joel Black – Project Manager, NSW
Qualifications: B. Land Eco & Cert IV
Experience: Joel’s approach is transparent and meticulous with a focus on creating value and an exceptional level of service to all clients. His high-level problem solving and communication skills are pivotal in his ability to navigate and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve a common goal. During Joel’s 19 years at Dewcape, he has been involved in a diverse range of projects ranging from high-end commercial construction, multifaceted rollout projects, industrial developments, and hospitality fit-outs.
David O’Halloran - Project Manager
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying, Diploma in Construction Studies, Diploma in Measurement and Estimating
Experience: David is a highly experienced Project Manager with over 18 years’ experience in construction and project management with an established record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality. David has functioned in a wide range of project planning and cost management capacities for residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, health care, multi-unit residential fit-out, and refurbishment. David is dedicated to developing project teams that remain client centred, goal-focused and energised around the success of the project.
Brendan Cadden – Design Manager
Qualifications: B.Sc. Arch Tech
Experience: Over 23yrs experience as an Architectural Technologist / Project Architect in Ireland & Australia. He has in-depth knowledge of the approvals and certification process and managed this on many multifaceted projects. Experienced in all sectors and stages – from client briefing to onsite completion on projects ranging from $150k – $350m.
Nick De Bellis – Financial Controller
Qualifications: BBus, FIPA, FFA, FTIA, CTA, AIMM, Registered BAS Agent, Public Practice Certificate
Experience: 30 years experience in financial & management accounting gained within the automotive industry holding senior positions in Management and at Board level. Recent 11 years consulting to SME’s in a range of industries delivering tailored BAS and accounting services.
Danni Uglow - People & Culture
Qualifications: BComm [HR & Marketing], Master NLP Practitioner
Experience: Over 20 years managing teams, building strong team environments and results-focused processes across multiple industries. Danni manages Dewcape People & Culture to ensure we have a unified team that support each other and strive for the best results across every touchpoint of our projects and client contact. With a focus on growth and progression within the company, we look for autonomous, highly focussed and motivated individuals to mentor and develop within the business.
Nick Matwijow – HSEQ Manager
Qualifications: Diploma of Work Health & Safety
Experience: 4 ½ years’ experience working with Australia’s Largest Tier 1 Property Developer within Construction, Hotel, Commercial, Retail and Building Management Industries. Nick provides a wide range of skills and experience which are essential for delivering continued development and compliance of the business ensuring high safety standards for Dewcape staff and delivering a quality product that exceeds expectations for his clients.
